Fudgy Brownies
A simple recipe for rich and fudgy brownies with a crackled top.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup (35g) cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- Whisk melted butter and sugar together in a bowl.
- Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until smooth.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool before cutting.
